This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is handled when you request The 3-Check Idea Picker through our form and choose whether to receive additional emails from One Real Step.
The form collects your first name and email address. It also records submission details, including the submission date, time, and time zone.
Submission records include page and source information, such as the form page address, traffic source, form identifier, and technical event identifier.
Providing your information is voluntary. However, your first name and email address are required to submit this form. If you do not provide them, you cannot request the free sheet through this form.
Consent to marketing emails is optional. Leaving the marketing checkbox unchecked does not prevent you from requesting the free sheet.
Your email address is used to deliver the free sheet you requested. Requesting the sheet does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.
If you separately select the optional email checkbox, you agree to receive occasional practical tips, resources and offers from One Real Step. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails.
We rely on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR to use your details to send the free resource you actively request through our form.
Marketing emails require your separate, optional consent under Article 6(1)(a). Requesting the free resource does not provide consent for marketing.
Where limited records are necessary to meet our legal obligations under the GDPR, such as demonstrating consent and recording its withdrawal, we rely on Article 6(1)(c).
We use technical service providers to host our form, manage contact records and deliver emails. These include providers of cloud hosting and storage, contact management and automation, and email delivery services.
These providers process personal information on our behalf to supply those services. They may also use subprocessors to support their operations.
The technical services used for our form and emails may involve processing personal information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
Our platform provider’s published Data Processing Addendum describes international transfer safeguards, including applicable adequacy decisions and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
For further information about international processing and the safeguards relevant to your information, contact [email protected].
If you request the free sheet without subscribing to marketing emails, we retain your request details only for as long as necessary to deliver the resource and resolve any outstanding delivery issue. Once that purpose is fulfilled, we delete or anonymise those details, unless a specific legal obligation requires further retention.
If you subscribe to marketing emails, we retain your subscription details only while your consent remains valid and those details are necessary to provide the emails you requested. If you withdraw consent or we discontinue these emails, we stop using your information for that marketing purpose.
We may retain limited records of consent and unsubscribe requests only where necessary to demonstrate compliance and prevent unwanted marketing. These records are not used to send marketing after you unsubscribe and are deleted when they are no longer necessary for those purposes.
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy where that right applies. You can also object to processing where applicable, including direct marketing.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To make a privacy request, email [email protected]. We normally respond within one month. If a legally permitted extension is necessary, we will explain the reason within that first month.
You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or another competent supervisory authority.
